Details: Sometimes called the Red Tour and sometimes the Blue Tour. Whatever the name, this is the most important small group tour of Cappadocia. In the morning we visit the animalistic shaped rock formations in Devrent "Imagination" Valley, visit Zelve Open Air Museum to see how people used to live in the caves until recently, and walk in Pashabagi (Monks Valley) where you will see the famous three–headed fairy chimneys and grape gardens of the locals. In Avanos there is time for lunch as well as visiting a traditional potters’ workshop where you will see their 5,000 year old kick–wheel technique. In the afternoon we visit Goreme Open Air Museum, one of the biggest Christian monastic centers of the world all in rock cut caves with beautiful frescos and paintings, and finally a spectacular view of Uchisar rock castle and local valleys.
